Meeting Calendar

2025/2026 CALENDAR OF PROGRAMS

All meetings are held on Thursdays unless otherwise noted at the Milford Senior Center, 1050 Atlantic Street in downtown Milford adjacent to the Milford Civic Center. Meetings start at 6:30 pm with a Social Time. The business meeting and program starts at 7 pm. Meetings are open to members and non-members.

2026 Speakers and Topics:

January and February-No meeting

March 12 Thursday 6:30pm. Program at 7:00pm. Gail Morrrell presents “The Good, the Bad and the Beautiful” Insects!”

April 9 Thursday 6:30pm. Program at 7:00pm. Angela from East Michigan Natives presents an “Intro to Natives for the Birds!”

May 14 Thursday 6:30pm General Membership Meeting. Program TBD

June 6 Saturday Plant Sale Methodist Church. Sale 10am-Noon

June 19 & 20 Friday and Saturday Garden Walk. Friday 4pm-8pm; Saturday 10am-4pm.

Gail Montgomery- Practical gardening, repurposing and other interesting tidbits
Emily Duthinh- Invasive species in our area and efforts to manage/control their spread 
Bevin Cohen, Food and garden author, herbalist and owner of Small House Farm in Sanford, Michigan     where they grow seed crops, herbs and flowers.
Erin Hamilton is a farmer and agricultural educator from Howell, Michigan. She
and her husband founded the Mushroom Conservancy Erin’s passion is regenerative agriculture and
farmland.
